Quickview: Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei

Hier hatte ich einfach nur das Catgirl auf dem Key Visual gesehen und mir gedacht, in die Serie schaue ich mal rein. Schon einmal ganz direkt: Das hätte ich mir auch sparen können.

Story:
Hiiragi Seiichi is an ugly, revolting, dirty, smelly fatass; these are the insults hurled at him one after another about his appearance. Such was Seiichi's daily school life of bullying, then for some reason, one day when school was out, a voice claiming to be a God said over the PA system to prepare to be transported to another world. What's more, not Seiichi alone, but the entire school. A fantasy world where game-like elements such as as levels, stats, and skills exist. However, the God still had preparations to complete for the transfer, and would send them over as soon as the hero summoning ritual was ready. The classes all formed groups to wait for the transfer, but Seiichi alone was discluded and as such was summoned to a different area. After being transported the first thing Seiichi ate was the "Fruit of Evolution". This would come to greatly change his life

This story is about how Seiichi went from being severely bullied by his classmates, even not being recognized for his accomplishments, and despite all that staying positive and surviving in this new world. As a result, he somehow becomes one of the champions.

Ich hab echt keine Ahnung, was ich mir dabei gedacht habe, hier in die Serie rein zu schauen. Wahrscheinlich liegt der Fehler darin, dass ich hier nicht mit dem Quellmaterial vertraut bin. Auf jeden Fall konnte mich die erste Episode nicht überzeugen. Die Animationen waren durchschnittlich, warum die Serie als Genre "Comedy" bekommen hat, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen und der Protagonist geht mir bereits jetzt auf die Nerven. Ich weiß aktuell gar nicht so richtig, was ich zu der Serie schreiben soll. Selbst für einen Isekai-Titel war die erste Episode einfach nicht brauchbar. Und so einige Serien von diesem Format hatten durchaus schlechte Einstiege...

Dem ersten Eindruck nach wird hier auch inhaltlich nicht viel zu holen sein. Was bliebt der Serie also noch? Nach der ersten Episode kein ordentlicher Inhalt, keine sympathischen Charaktere und keine brauchbare Comedy. Nachdem, was ich bisher gesehen habe, ist nicht einmal das Setting irgendwie originell.

Vielleicht kann die zweite Episode noch irgendwie etwas besser machen, zurzeit zweifle ich allerdings arg daran.
